A huge Kiln Craft drip glaze mug, in molten, lava-like hues. It has a glorious 1970s geography teacher feel about it!
Kiln Craft was a trading name of Staffordshire Potteries Limited, which grew out of the Keele Street Pottery (KSP) group. The Kiln Craft brand was introduced in 1972 and the brand became a runaway success, chiefly due to the Bramble and Baccus designs.
The ranges were so successful that Kiln Craft’s name and trademark were adopted as the corporate symbols of Staffordshire Potteries Ltd. Early pieces of Kiln Craft pottery are stamped as Staffordshire Potteries and later pieces as Kiln Craft.
The Hygge Factor
This versatile mug will become part of the fabric of your life - perfect for soup on a chilly day, Monday mornings when only a massive brew will do, holding pens, pencils or paint brushes on your desk, it would even look beautiful planted up with succulents!
