Made from mulesing-free wool.
Mulesing is the main source of cruelty in the wool industry. It’s a preventative surgical practice, often done without pain-relief, involving physical scarring to reduce the risk of life-threatening infections.
There are kinder, expensive alternatives, focused on slower rearing and farming practices. This is why mulesing-free wool might cost a bit extra.
A natural fibre, wool keeps you warm, is breathable and is biodegradable. It’s also a much more sustainable alternative to knitwear made from synthetic fibres.
