Beddgelert is a tiny village in the heart of Snowdonia, famous for its picturesque stone cottages and bridge crossing the River Colwyn. A beautiful scene that makes me want to jump into the picture, like Mary Poppins. 

Tuck it in amongst the china on your dresser, frame it, pop it on a shelf or send it to a loved one. 

About the Artist

Josie Russell is a talented textile artist based in Gwynedd. Her work is inspired by the mountains, flora and fauna of the North Wales coast and countryside. 

As an extension of this, she is passionate about sustainability and treading lightly on the earth. Thrifty as well as arty, Josie only uses the bare minimum of new materials: canvasses, certain threads or spare parts for her sewing machine. 

The rest - fabric remnants, ribbons, buttons, beads and other trinkets are recycled from Josie’s own clothes, donated by her family and friends or sourced from local charity shops, meaning that her money often finds its way back to charity.
