Perhaps one of the most beautiful handmade patchwork blankets I’ve seen of its age, this 1970s heirloom quality English Paper Pieced (EPP) cotton patchwork blanket whispers to your freewheeling hippy spirit.
When you look closely at it, you can see the tiny, neat stitches that hold the fabric together and it’s clear that this was a labour of love to make.
Checked and floral hexagons in cream, ochre, coral, lavender, soft grey and inky blue make up the central star motif and deep border using grandmother’s flower rosette designs.
The reverse side of the blanket has a lovely lemon and off-white pencil stripe backing.
The Hygge Factor
The perfect blanket for late Summer picnics, camping under the stars and cosy Autumn evenings curled up by the fire with a book.
It's the unique boho blanket you wish you had discovered in your granny’s attic.
